Coming up this week... 

We are back!!! After what feels like an eternity of sorting and getting things straight we are now ready to go!! Here is a list of what is coming up and some other useful things you need to know...

Cell Groups 
All of the cell groups are starting back this week. Year 12 and 13 cel groups are having a session on "Guidance and how listen for it". In case you need a reminder these are the times and days that the different groups meet:  
Year 7 Cell: Monday nights 7.15pm - 8.30pm
Year 8 Cell: Monday nights 5.30pm - 7.00pm
Year 9 Cell: Monday afternoons 3.15pm - 4.30pm
Year 10 Cell: Wednesday afternoons 4.30pm -6.00pm
Year 11 Cell: Friday afternoons 3.15pm - 4.30pm
Year 12 Cell: Tuesday nights 6.15pm - 7.30pm 
Year 13 Cell: Wednesday nights 8.00pm - 9.45pm 

Parents, please make sure you have filled out at Consent form. Cell members, make sure you bring the Consent form as we are only allowed to let people come along for one week without one!

Friday Pathfinders (older and younger)
Friday Pathfinders is BACK! 6.30pm - 7.45pm for younger, 8.00pm - 9.30pm for younger. We will be having some amazing Ice Breaker games at both sessions. Be there, or be somewhere else... less fun.

Sunday Pathfinders
This week (25th September) Sunday Pathfinders are having a a BBQ breakfast to celebrate the start of the year. We will be meeting straight at the Pearce's house (contact me if you don't know where that is) at 10.45 instead of going to church first like normal. 

When we get there we will play some games, eat some delicious breakfast and then hearing some stories about how the leaders came to be Christians. 


If you have any special dietary requirements, please let me know before hand.

And make sure you bring this permission slip with you, as well as a Consent form. 


CYFA 
Because it's the 4th Sunday next week there isn't any CYFA. But it is OK because we will be back the week after to hear some of Nick's self proclaimed "wisdom" on the Bible and what it is for.

Just a little treat for those of you that were in my group last week...
Which ever group you joined last week, make sure you have a go at which ever way you thought sounded helpful for getting in to reading the Bible everyday.

Consent forms!
No matter which group you are in, parents need to fill out one of these forms and make sure you get it to us as soon as possible.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
