Coming up next week...  Who will read my wonderful blog and put it in a box for me (my take on an Oliver classic). Good luck to all our young people performing in Oliver at school this week, break a leg (I've never understood this phrase but its always used!) The Christmas holidays are almost upon us with just one more event happening, read to find out the final details.... Cell Groups Individual cell groups have finished for the year, and what a decade it has been. Thank you all for coming, and a big thank you for all the leaders who have helped. Fear not, the cell social is happening Thursday! Cell Social THE CELL CHRISTMAS SOCIAL IS HERE! This Thursday (19th December) we are meeting at the church for 7pm. I have been on the phone to Domino's this morning arranging the massive pizza order. Coming up next week...  17 days till Christmas, who else is excited? We are still plodding on with our Youthwork this week so read on to find out what you are up too! Update: Jo, Olly, Hope and Eddie are doing well! Cell Groups As it is the last individual cell groups this week, some are having a social, some may be doing something different, its up to your leaders! Year 7 -   Tuesday 5:30  - 7:15, usual place Year 8   -  Monday 7:30 - 8:45pm at the vicarage Year 9  - Thursday 7:00 - 9:30 at the church Year 10  - Thursday 7:30 - 9:00pm  Year 11  - Monday 5:30 - 6:45pm  Year 12  - Friday 5:00 - 6:15pm  Year 13+  - Wednesday 6:30 - 7:45pm  Cell Social The cell Christmas social is on Thursday 19th December at 7pm. A night where we all dress in our finest clobber and dine like kings on Domino's pizza (other pizzas are available just not on the night for us!). Public announcement blog!  Good morning everybody, I bring you good news. Edward Joel Shaw was born at 1:36am this morning, weight 9lbs 4 (which is big I am told). Jo, Edward and Olly are all doing well.  I know everybody will be really excited to meet Edward and I'm sure the Shaws will introduce him soon, but please remember to respect their time to get used to parents of two. Just want to finish by thanking God for a safe birth and for blessing Jo and Olly with a second child.  Paternity leave Now that Edward has arrived, paternity leave begins. Olly won't be around for the next two weeks, most likely returning for the Christmas social. Fear not, in his absence, I will be in charge and Peter Lockwood will become my minion. Coming up next week...  Hope you have all had your second little advent chocolate, hands up if you have put your Christmas tree up yet (My hand is firmly down, far too early, Bah Humbug). We are still in full flow with the Youthwork, gearing up to the big finale of the cell Christmas social, so make sure you have your tickets....
