Coming up next week... 
Hello, another week goes by but we are still here, plodding on as a youth work team. Cell groups are on this week, CYFA is on this week and if you read you will find out all about the plans for the cell celebration...


Cell Groups
This week cell groups continue the programme of bible characters in lockdown. I think some cells are on John the Baptist whilst others are looking at Anna




Friday Pathfinders 
Will be canceled until further notice... however both Olly and I will be available to chat or give you creative one player game ideas using the contact details below!! Genuinely do get in touch on a Friday night if you are bored... we probably will be too. 



CYFA
CYFA is back this week. Using the app called RAVE again we will join together at 11:30 Sunday morning to watch a talk from Soul Survivor Watford. We will chat and discuss throughout the video. It would be great if people wanted to join, I its your first time come along and if you need any help sorting RAVE just get in touch!

Sunday 
Alongside the Sunday service, Olly and I have created a series of talking point videos. These are just a few simple questions to discuss in your homes, with your friends or just to think about on your own. They are based around the topic of the Sunday service and are just aimed to get you thinking that little bit more. We hope you enjoy them!

The Cell Celebration
Now we are being ambitious. Usually towards the end of the year we would have our last cell celebration and we aren't going to let no virus stop us doing that! We are hoping to hold our first ever online cell celebration. Most of the same stuff just from the comfort of your own home. Each cell group will have a different element of the service, from refreshments to the talk, from prayer to a game. The aim is to host the cell celebration around the 19th of July (more details will follow) but all are welcome to watch our celebration!  

New Challenges  
The bible in lockdown challenge is still going on! We have completed Judges and acts, and I think now is the most important time of challenge. As society opens up, and there is more to do, it would be easy to stop reading the bible as much, but let's keep going.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
