Coming up next week... 
Hello, this week we are business as usual, or as usual as it can be during lockdown. We have cell groups and to be honest, that is about it. We are thinking of some new things to do, and hopefully we will have them soon...

Cell Groups
Cell groups last week were based around racism, discussing the current national and worldwide situation and talking about what a christian response might be. It was great to have such mature and honest conversations with people. 

This week we are going back to the devotional sessions, which we hope you are enjoying. 




Friday Pathfinders 
Will be canceled until further notice... however both Olly and I will be available to chat or give you creative one player game ideas using the contact details below!! Genuinely do get in touch on a Friday night if you are bored... we probably will be too. 



CYFA
CYFA was great this week. We listened to Mike Pilavachi speak on redemption, sin and a christian response to current issues. We did this together on an app called RAVE and we will be doing the same in 2 weeks time (28th of June) please do let us know if you would like to come and cant sort out rave!

Sunday 
Alongside the Sunday service, Olly and I have created a series of talking point videos. These are just a few simple questions to discuss in your homes, with your friends or just to think about on your own. They are based around the topic of the Sunday service and are just aimed to get you thinking that little bit more. We hope you enjoy them!

New Challenges 
The bible in lockdown challenge is still going on! We have completed Judges and acts, and I think now is the most important time of challenge. As society opens up, and there is more to do, it would be easy to stop reading the bible as much, but let's keep going.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
