Coming up next week...
Cell Groups
I know what you are thinking. "I wonder what is happening next week in the youth work at St. Leonard's. Well luckily for you I have read you mind and the blog is here in all its glory. Feast your eyes below to find out which particular parts our next Cell Celebration each Cell Group will be taking parting in, what is happening in Pathfinders and how to get your hands on that sweet sweet online consent form...
Sunday 14th October is our next Cell Celebration and so we are starting to prepare what we do. The theme of the service will be 'inclusion'. If you are unfamiliar with how a Cell Celebration works, let me fill you in:
Each of the cell groups prepare a specific part of what is an informal and relaxed evening service. This includes, games, prayer stations, refreshments and response times. The service is run by the members of our cell groups and as such feels very 'cell groupey' (which is a good thing!) but it is open to anyone who wants to come, old or young, member of a cell group or not. If you have never been to one before, why not try it out on the 14th?
So back to who is doing what this week:
Year 7 Cell: will be having a special guest from Kolkata coming to talk to them about a project called JKPS. But will start preparing for their part of the Cell Celebration the week after.
Year 8 Cell: will be preparing our welcome game!
Year 9 Cell: will be preparing 2 of our prayer stations.
Year 10 Cell:will be having a special guest from Kolkata coming to talk to them about a project called JKPS. But will start preparing for their part of the Cell Celebration the week after.
Year 11 Cell: will be preparing the talk.
Year 12 Cell: will be preparing 2 of our prayer stations.
Year 13 Cell: will be preparing 2 of our prayer stations.
