Coming up next week... 
Firstly, let me apologise for the tardiness of this blog. I'm writing this one having recovered from being ill. I won't bore you with the details but that's what caused the delay. I'll have to ask your forgiveness for there being more typos than usual as well. Still not quite 100%. However, still keen that people should know what is happening in the next week, so here we go...






Consent forms

St. Leonard's Youth yearly consent form


Cell Groups
Cell groups are now back in the swing and will be back again next week. Year 7-9 cell groups will be reviewing the year last year and trying to come up with some ideas of what they would like to do next. Year 10-13 cell groups will be having a session on self worth. 

Year 7 Cell: will be meeting on Monday 10th, 7.30pm - 8.45pm at Caroline's house (due to the Shaw's being a sick house). 
Year 8 Cell: will be meeting on Tuesday 11th, 5.30pm - 6.45pm at the Ferrier's house (for the last time until the day/time gets changed).
Year 9 Cell: will be meeting on Thursday 13th, 7.30 - 8.45pm at the Ferrier's house.
Year 10 Cell: will be meeting on Monday 10th, 5.30pm - 7.00pm at Caroline's house. 
Year 11 Cell: will be meeting on Thursday 13th, 5.30pm - 6.45pm at the Harrington's house (we are doing 2 Thursdays so that Ruth can visit us).
Year 12 Cell: will be meeting on Wednesday 12th, 4.00pm - 5.15pm at the McKemey's house (for the last time before we change the day/time).
Year 13 Cell: will be meeting on Friday 14th, 3.15pm - 4.30pm at the Mark's house (we really will this time, I promise not to be ill!).

Younger Friday Pathfinders
Yesterday (14th Sep) was left in very capable hands and I am reliably informed they did some ice breaker games. I look forward to hearing all about it.



Next week (21st) is to be decided, so watch this space for next week... 
Older Friday Pathfinders

Again a crack team jumped in yesterday to fill the void and I'm sure every had a better time than usual because of it. The group hopefully got to know each other much better and I look forward to seeing the ideas that came out of the planning session. 



Next week (21st) will be entirely based on the ideas that came out yesterday so I look forward to seeing what came out and sorting it into some sort of plan for the term. 


Sunday Pathfinders 
Tomorrow (16th September) we will be having a session looking at what it means to live a life of love. Graham and Olly will be leading. 

CYFA 
CYFA is back tomorrow for our first session of this academic year. It is being lead by Claire and Nick and we will be starting our program of reading through the gospel of Mark.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
