 This Sunday (21st) Aidan is getting baptised at the Mill at 1:00pm this is a great opportunity to support him and spend some time together so please come along and bring a picnic lunch!

Friday Pathfinders
This week instead of Pathfinders we are taking part in the Soul Survivor Quiz. This means we will be meeting at 7:15 for both older and younger and finishing at around 9:30. For more details see below

Sunday Pathfinders/ CYFA
If you are in year 10 or above please come along this week to the Page's at 9:00 for our CYFA breakfast before Church. Pathfinders will be looking at the community of God.

Soul Survivor
Thanks to everyone who helped at the BBQ - despite the disgusting weather it went really well! This Friday is our quiz night. It's open to everyone so please come along. Entry is £5 per person and we will be providing refreshments. It's in the Church at 7:15 (for a 7:30 start) and teams are of 5-8 people. Feel free to come along in a team or on your own and we will find a team for you to join!

Cell Groups

The new year 6 Cell group starts today from 5:30 - 7:00 in the Church hall. All other Cell groups are on as usual this week. Next week there may be a few changes as some of the cell group leaders are going to be in Sweden but I will let the groups know this week if their group will be on and put it in next weeks blog.
This is from a few weeks ago but I'd just like everyone to appreciate the score board!!!

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
