Coming up next week...  THE LAST BLOG OF THE YEAR. Enjoy it while it lasts! Here are some things you need to know. I hope everyone has an amazing summer...  Cell Groups  The Summer Holidays are nearly here! Hurrah! But the sad news is that that means there won't be any cell groups until the first full week back at school (this term that will be the week beginning 11th September).  Make sure you remember the things you were going to do when there is no cell...  Friday Pathfinders This week 21st July, its Archery Tag night! The younger (year 7-9) lot need to get there at 6.15pm and the older lot (year 10 plus) need to get there for 7.15pm. Coming up next week...  Its is almost the last blog of the year! Crazy! Here is what is coming up this week... Cell Groups  I hope everyone enjoyed the Cell Summer BBQ this year, I know I did. Thank you to everyone who came and to the Ferrier's for having us (and to our special guest chef, Ed O'Keafe). Here are some photo's, so you can re-live the experience from the comfort of your own home (sorry there aren't many, I was too busy having fun)... Most cell groups are meeting at usual times in the usual places this week to have a session about what to do when there is no cell. The only cell group that isn't meeting is year 7 (because most of your leaders are away).  Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (14th July) is our WATER FIGHT (and BBQ). Coming up next week...  Well this is my first blog back after paternity leave. Apologies if there are more typos than usual this week, sleep deprivation will do that for you.  Here is what is coming up this week... Cell Groups  There are no normal cell meetings next week, but that is because we are having our end of year cell group BBQ.  We will be meeting in the Ferrier's garden on Thursday 13th July at 6.30pm. The plan is to eat lots of delicious BBQ'd food, do some praying together and then have a massive water fight. Bring a water gun and we will provide the burgers! Be there or be somewhere else less fun! In other news the new year 6 cell will be kicking off with a one-off special on Monday 10th July at 4.15pm, also at the Ferrier's (thank you Ferrier's!). We will be thinking about what it means to be part of a cell group and what we want to do with our cell. So, if you know any year 6's who might want to join. Tell them to come along!    ...

Coming up next week...  Time flies when you're having fun. This will be my last blog as Olly returns to work on Monday, but don't worry, I won't be far away and I will come to visit you all! So for the final time from me, here is what is coming up this week... Cell Groups  Year 7 cell will be doing a session on friendship and relationships. Year 8 will be doing the second part of the sex and relationships session. Year 9 may or may not be having a social, it is yet to be decided. Year 10 will continue to look at the Youth Alpha sessions. year 11, year 12 and year 13 will all be doing a session called "What about when there is no cell?" Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (30 June) is wild animal night. Come dressed up as an animal and prepare to take part in load of animal based games. Next week (7 July) is inflatable night. There will be sumo suits, a disco bouncy castle and other inflatables so come along! Friday Pathfinders ...

Coming up next week...  Another week goes by, exams are coming to an end, but the youth work never stops. Here's what's coming up this week Cell Groups  Year 7 cell will be doing a second session on a God of Surprises. Year 8 cell will be starting the 2 week programme on sex and relationships whilst year 9 be doing the second half of the same session. Year 10 cell will be doing the youth alpha session which was supposed to be done this week, but none of them turned up! Year 11 will be having an end of exams celebration. Year 12 will be doing a session on God of Surprises and year 13 will be having a meal together as it could well be their last cell all together :( Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (23 June) you guys will be continuing on the projects you started last week.
