26th November 2020 (+ a day... oops)

Hello! Thanks for joining us for this week's blog. I can hardly believe another week has whipped around and here we are again...

As per, here's your update for the week:

Watch out for Olly, Jonny and me in the Sunday service! We have put together the All-Age slot (and had fun doing it 😂) all about waiting. The service will start at 10.30am and you can find it on the church website. Let us know what you think... and be sure to enter our competition... (more details if you watch the service).

Next week we'll be doing something a bit different with cell groups. Rather than the usual, we'll be meeting together for a session called "The Invitation". We have an external speaker coming to talk about sharing faith with those around us. It should be challenging, interesting and fun too! It's a cool opportunity to listen and think more about how we can invite friends and loved ones along to church; how we can be inviting people to know God and the Christian faith.

To ensure everybody can come, the session will be on twice; once on Wednesday, once on Thursday. (If you're in a cell group, you have probably had a conversation this week about which session your group could come too.)

If you would like to come on Wednesday 2nd from 5.30-7pm, here is the Zoom link:

Meeting ID: 857 7240 8492
Passcode: 164404

If you would like to come on Thursday 3rd from 6-7.30pm, here is the Zoom link:

Meeting ID: 813 6401 7709
Passcode: 056232

So please note: there will be no cell groups next week as this event is running instead. We'd love to see as many young people as possible engaging with these sessions as they should be really useful.

We have developed a feedback form for anything you might want to tell us - whether it's some constructive criticism or an idea you've had. So if you are feeling particularly inspired or want to have your say, you can do so by clicking here and filling out the form

Jonny and Sarah now have their own phone numbers, yay! This means they can stay in touch more easily - check out their numbers at the bottom.

We are considering the best ways to stay in touch and reach out to our young people. As the social media person, I'm trying to get my head around a strategy and the best way for us to be present without being annoying!

It would be great to hear your feedback on the blog and our other social media pages, so if you want to to get in touch or if you have any fresh ideas, I'd love to hear them! Feel free to drop me an email: sarahstleonardsyouth@gmail.com

Thanks so much for catching up with us this week!
