Coming up next week... 

And we are back.... thank you for your patience with us but we are looking forward to everything starting up again. Having had a week of planning and meetings with various leadership teams and the Youth Steering Group we are now ready to start 2020 as we mean to go on. 





Cell Groups
All cell groups are starting back this week and appropriately enough we are exploring the theme of patience. 

 Year 7 - 9 Cell - will be starting with a social, same time and same places as last year. For year 8 cell, we are looking at making that a bit earlier but we will keep you posted. 

 Year 10 - 13 Cell - will be starting with our first session on 'Patience', and as a further bit of patience practice, you will have a social but it will be just before half term. 




Younger and Older Friday Pathfinders 
We are having our Friday Pathfinders leaders meeting today (Friday 10th Jan) so as yet the themes of all the sessions have yet to be decided. 

 However, next Friday (17th Jan) both Older and Younger Friday Pathfinders will be back in action, at the same time and the same place (6.30pm-7.45pm for Younger and 8pm-9.30pm for Older, both in the Church hall!). 

Sunday Pathfinders 
Sunday Pathfinders is back this week. The session will be an introduction to 'Spiritual Decluttering' and will be led by Olly and Jennifer. 

 CYFA  
There is no CYFA this week but we are back on 19th January.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
