Half term is finished and we have an apology to make. Sorry about not having a blog last Friday. But we are back in full flow with an action packed week ahead. We have instant mash potato and a frozen sock, how do these two things link I hear you ask, read on to find out!



Cell Groups
Cell groups are on this week. All cell groups will be completing a plan called Mission Academy. This is the first of two plans you will do from the mission academy and they look great. Year 11 will be the exception to this plan who will again be having a nice relaxed cell with prayer and games as you come to the end of your exams (YAY). 

Year 7 - Monday 7:30 - 8:45
Year 8 - Monday 7:00 - 8:30
Year 9 - Thursday 7:30 - 8:45
Year 10 - Monday 5:30 - 7:00
Year 11 - Wednesday 6:30 - 7:45
Year 12/13 - Friday 3:30 - 5:00


Younger Friday Pathfinders
Pathfinders is back this week (7th Jun) and it is boys vs girls night. Come and join in the battle of the sexes, the boys won at Older, can the girls draw level at younger?

Boys vs girls is the perfect warm up for next week. On the 14th June, pathfinders will be mixed and it will be Older vs Younger.

Older Friday Pathfinders
This week (7th Jun) it is winter night. Join us for an evening of all things winter. Come ready to build a snowman out of mash potato, melt some ice and enjoy hot dogs and hot chocolate. See you all there.

As said above, on the 14th June it is older vs younger night. Which Pathfinders will come out victorious?

Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on this Sunday and it is being led by Jennifer and Dobbo. The topic is Pentecost.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
