Coming up next week... 
Ahhhh... I hope everyone had a great half term and is happy to be back. We have a few trips with Friday Pathfinders and some letter for the Youth Weekend Away that feature in this week's blog so make sure you don't miss out on those. Here is what is coming up with St. Leonard's Youth next week... 

Youth Weekend Away! 
On the 8th-10th March we are going on our yearly youth weekend away. If you have never been before, ask someone who has to tell you all about it... 

 Paper copies of the letters below will be being given out at groups next week, but spaces for activities are limited so if you want to be ahead of the curve you can download them here:

Cell Groups
Year 7 Cell: are continuing with our series on books of the Bible. After having looked at Genesis this week, next week we will be looking at Luke. As usual we will be meeting at the usual time of Monday night, 7.30pm-8.45pm at the Shaw's house.
Year 8 Cell: are continuing with our series on books of the Bible. Meeting at the usual time on Monday night,  7.00pm-8.30pm at the Ferrier's house.
Year 9 Cell: are continuing with our series on books of the Bible. Meeting on Thursday 13th, 7.30 - 8.45pm at the Ferrier's house.
Year 10 Cell: will be doing part 3 of our 4 part series on the Bible. Having looked at Luke this week, next week we are going through the book of Acts. They will be meeting on Monday at 5.30pm - 7pm at Caroline's house
Year 11 Cell: will be doing part 3 of our 4 part series on the Bible. Having looked at Luke this week, next week we are going through the book of Acts. They will be meeting on Wednesday at 7.45pm - 8.45pm at Marion's house.
Year 12 Cell: are continuing with our series on books of the Bible. After having looked at Genesis last time they met, next week they will be looking at Luke.. They will be meeting on Wednesday at 4pm - 5.30pm at Denise's house.
Year 13 Cell: will be doing part 3 of our 4 part series on the Bible. Having looked at Luke this week, next week we are going through the book of Acts. They will be meeting on Friday at 3.15pm - 4.45pm at Penny's house.



Younger Friday Pathfinders
Tonight (2nd November) we are joining up with the Older Friday Pathfinders for Fireworks night... complete with a fireworks display, a bonfire, hot dogs and s'mores. We have given out letters with more information such as where we will be and timings. If you haven't seen this letter you can download it here.




Next week (9th November) we are taking a trip to a trampoline park in Swindon called FreeDog. We have 14 places in the mini bus, after that, people will need to make their own way there. So get your forms in ASAP. If you haven't had a form, you can download it here.
Older Friday Pathfinders

 Sunday Pathfinders  
This Sunday (4th November) we are having as session about things that can be hard about being part of a church. It is being led by Simon and Ruth

CYFA is on this week carrying on our series on Mark, looking at Mark 3. It's being led by Nick and Olly.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
