5th - 12th October

Coming up next week...
We are back again for another thrilling instalment of Blogginess. Sit back relax and enjoy 3-4minutes of informative yet surprisingly enjoyable reading (and please forgive the typos). This week we have go lots of fun things coming up so have read below and make sure you don't miss out...

Cell Groups
Sunday 14th October is our  Cell Celebration!! Next week all cell groups will be finalising their plans for the service and making sure everything is ready. The theme of the service will be 'Inclusion'. Remember that if your cell is doing prayer stations, you need to have your bit of the station ready for your next cell meeting so that people in cell can have a go and make sure it works...

Year 7 Cell: will be planning the refreshments and welcome.
Year 8 Cell: will be preparing our welcome game!
Year 9 Cell: will be preparing 2 of our prayer stations.
Year 10 Cell:will be planning our response time and welcome (that's not a typo, there really are two cells focusing on how we welcome people. I figure in a service about inclusion we ought to be fairly welcoming)
Year 11 Cell: will be preparing 2 of our prayer stations.
Year 12 Cell: will be preparing 2 of our prayer stations.
Year 13 Cell: will be preparing the talk.

If you don't know what a cell celebration is and you didn't read it in the blog last week here is an explanation of what they are like:

Our cell celebrations are an evening service, starting at 6.00pm run by the members of our cell groups. We usually start with refreshments and a time to chat and the sitting down bit of the service kicks off at about 6.15pm. Each of the cell groups prepare a specific part of what is an informal and relaxed evening service. This includes, games, prayer stations, refreshments and response times. The service is run by the members of our cell groups and as such feels very 'cell groupey' (which is a good thing!) but it is open to anyone who wants to come, old or young, member of a cell group or not. If you have never been to one before, why not try it out on the 14th?
