Coming up this week... 

I hope everyone has had lovely first week after half term. Here is what you need to know this week...

Cell Groups 
All cell groups will be doing sessions based around family this week. These sessions are part of a 4 week course of plans put together by the youth wing of the Salvation Army called a:love (click the name to find out more about them). 




Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Tonight (24th Feb) we are having a 'Cardboard Fortress Night'. Basically we will have tons of cardboard and we will build our own fort!! Bring as much card board as you can, because no-one ever came to a card board fortress night and said "ohhhh, there is way too much cardboard here...". You also might want to bring things like plastic bottle that can be used for decorations and as weapons!!

Next week (3rd March) is 'Wide Games' down at the field, so come dress in warm clothes that you don't mind getting muddy!! 

Friday Pathfinders (older)
Tonight (24th Feb), since there will be so much cardboard in the hall, we are going to have a 'nerf war' using the cardboard to build our own defences. That is, if we have a enough nerf guns and bullets for it to be fun. If not, I have a couple of other ideas up my sleeve...

Next week (3rd March) will be the much disputed girlie night... but we can talk about that this week.  


Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on this week and its being led by Olly and Graham. We will be looking at Mark 13: 1-13 and thinking about persecution. 

CYFA 
CYFA actually isn't on this week. Sorry for the blog being wrong last week!! The next CYFA back is the 5th March, its being lead by Steve and Claire and is about cults. 
Youth Weekend Away 
Youth Weekend Away is coming happening in 2 weeks today!!! If you have any questions about it, please come and talk to me or get in touch using the stuff below. 

On another note, one or two people still haven't paid the full amount. If you know that's you, please bring the money along next week. If not, I know someone with a very particular set of skills... and they will find you.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. Coming up this week...  This is the first blog of 2017! Just before the first proper week of our youth work in 2017. Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas!  Cell Groups  Cell  groups start back next Monday (9th Jan) with most cells having a social, but cell groups in year 12+ looking at 'spiritual disciplines'. Thank you to everyone who helped out with setting up (and washing up!!) for the cell  social  and to everyone came along.
