Coming up this week... 

The big news this week is that our youth weekend away date has now been sorted! Add that to all the Christmas excitement and I can barely even contain myself! Here is what is coming up in the next week...

YOUTH. WEEKEND. AWAY.
It is happening again and its going to be bigger than ever... (or at the very least, the same size)

We have managed to sort the venue and date out after a bit of a delay. 

The weekend is going to be 10th-12th March. Put it in your diaries and tattoo it on your favourite arm. 

If you have never been to the weekend away and want to know about it, speak to someone who has been and they will tell you how amazing it is. 

Cell Groups 
All cells are back this week, normal times and normal spaces. 

Year 7 Cell are looking at identity and confidence. 
Year 8 Cell are having a second session on Equality 
Year 9 Cell are having a session on Equality. 
Year 10 Cell are having a second session on porn
Year 11 Cell are having a session on Equality 
Year 12 Cell are looking at Mental health 
Year 13 Cell are doing a second session on Equality (I think) 

 Sounds very complicated, but I assure you it isn't. It's as simple as fitting as many marshmallows as you can into mouth and then saying chubby bunnies (see below) 






Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Today (25th) is 'Dark Games', be afraid, be very afraid. Unless you really like playing silly games in the dark, in which case... enjoy the games... very enjoy the games...




Next week (2nd December) we having a movie night, so make sure you vote tonight for your favourite movie to watch.   
Friday Pathfinders (older)
Today (25th) we are also playing dark games!! Be afraid etc. But as always there will be a bit of killer frisbee thrown in for good measure.



Next week (2nd) we are having our annual murder mystery. Hopefully it will be as good as last year... or will it... dun dun dun duuuuuuuunnnnn.......



Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on Psalm 51 this week and is going be lead by Olly and our new help Graham Griffiths. 


CYFA 
There is no CFYA this week, and in even sadder news, we have finished our run of sessions on the bible. What we do next is up to you (sort of).

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
