Hello everyone and welcome back to the St Leonards youth blog, the only place to find out exactly what is going on in the next week. Looking a little bit further into the future, our preparations are underway for the weekend away, and a variety of emails will be coming out for those involved. But back to this week, please read on to find out more...






Cell Groups
This week, year 7-9 will be looking at how to encounter God at school whilst from year 10 upwards the cells will be looking at encountering God at church. 

Year 7 cell - Monday 7:15 - 8:30
Year 8 cell - Tuesday 5:30 - 6:45
Year 9 cell - Thursday 7:30 - 8:45
Year 10 cell - Thursday 7:30 - 9:00
Year 11 cell - Monday 5:30 - 7:00
Year 12 cell - Friday 5:00 - 6:25 
Year 13 cell - Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00






Younger Friday Pathfinders 
This Friday, 6th March, you guys are doing animal night. I wont be there, but Peter is ready to judge who has the best cow moo, so get practicing. 

Next week, 13th March, is a joint session meeting at 6:30 - 8:00 and we will be seeing who can come on top, the boys or the girls.



Older Friday Pathfinders 
This week, 6th March, we are rolling back the years and playing some classic pathfinder games. If you have a specific favourite feel free to request it, and I am sure a man of Olly's experience will be able to sort it for you, within reason. 


Next week, 13th March, is a joint session meeting at 6:30 - 8:00 and we will be seeing who can come on top, the boys or the girls.

Sunday Pathfinders 
Sunday Pathfinders this Sunday (8th) is being led by Simon and Jennifer and is all about success

 CYFA  
CYFA is not on this Sunday I am afraid

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
