Coming up next week... 
Congrats, you made it. First week back after the Christmas holidays is always a struggle but you have done it. Now it's time to get back to nitty gritty of our Youthwork, and as some of you may know, there has been a major change. Olly has moved to a part time job in the church to take up an exciting new venture with the Diocese of Oxford, meaning that myself (Steven Dobson/Dobbo) have been employed to work alongside him. This is my first official blog so please be kind! Your leaders have been busy attending meetings all week but lets look at what is coming up this week...


Cell Groups! 
Cell groups start again this week, year 7-9 are going to be having a social, year 10, 11 and 13 are going to also be having a social but with a discussion about how last term went and plans for this term, and year 12 will be having a session on Gender as this is what they asked for! Here is a reminder of your cell times for those of you who have forgotten:
Year 7 - Monday 7:30 - 9:00
Year 8 - Monday 7:00- 8:30
Year 9 - Thursday 7:30 - 8:45 
Year 10 - Monday 5:30 - 7:00
Year 11 - Wednesday - 7:45 - 9:00
Year 12 - Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30
Year 13 - Friday 3:30 - 5:00

Younger Pathfinders: No meeting tonight (11th) but will be meeting next week (18th) with a theme as yet undecided.

Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on, being led by Ruth and Jennifer on 1 Peter 1 verses 1-12, its gonna be a cracker.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
