Coming up next week... 
Well, this is it. Its the end of the academic year and so there wont be any more regular blogs until September! I hope you have enjoyed the things we have done together this year and are looking forward to next year as much as I am. Below is a little bit of information about Soul Survivor, Sunday Pathfinders/CYFA, Cell Groups and as well as some pictures for you to enjoy from the year we have just had....





Soul Survivor  
If you or your child are coming to Soul Survivor with us this year then you should be expecting an email from us in the next week. The email will finalise travel plans and lay out how much you now need to pay to cover the cost of the trip (after fundraising). Keep a look out for that email and do please be in touch if you don't hear anything by Friday! 

Sunday Pathfinders & CYFA 
Our church is now in full summer mode, which means that there will be no Sunday Pathfinders or CYFA until September. 

Cell Groups
All cell groups are now on a break for the Summer and will be returning on the first full week of term (w/b 10th September). Hopefully see you all there. Unless arranged otherwise by your leaders, all cell groups will be at the same time, day and location that they were before the summer break! 
Older and Younger Friday Pathfinders

Having had our end of year BBQ Friday Pathfinders we are now on our summer break. Like Cell Groups, Friday Pathfinders will be starting back on the first full week of term (Friday 14th September).

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. You will not find one quite like it anywhere in the world!  Friday Pathfinders (older) Tonight (2nd June), there will also be no pathfinders due to half term. Next week will be movie night. Film TBC,

And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
