Coming up next week... 
This is it, there are only 3 more official St. Leonard's Youth activities to go before the summer holidays! The blog this week is a bit photo light but it is as ever heavy laden with lots of lovely information. Make sure you have a look and find out what is happening and where you need to be as we would hate for anyone to miss out...  (if you are a photo lover, don't worry, next week's blog will be packed full of them)



Cell Groups  
Next week there will be no cell groups meeting EXCEPT: 

Year 6 Cell! Year 6 Cell will be having its second ever meeting at 12a Wytham Close on Monday, straight after cell 56 at 7.30pm (to give people time to get there). Just like last time we will have pizza, play games and pray for each other. However unlike last time there will be no kicking water at Olly ;)! Well maybe a bit but I will get my revenge.  

Here are the year 9's saying goodbye to their leaders in style.

 We have got a great photo of the lovely year 6 cell but we don't photo permissions yet... watch this space for their first appearance on the blog. 

Friday Pathfinders (Younger) 
The last Friday Pathfinders of this academic year is tonight (13th July)! We are meeting at 6.30pm - 8.15pm at the Eynsham Sports Pavillon for a joint evening with the older group. As is traditional we will see the year out by eating some delicious BBQ food, playing some water based games and then chucking loads of water balloons at each other! Anyone for year 6 up is invited. 

Be there, or be somewhere else... less fun.

Friday Pathfinders (Older)
This Friday (13th) is the last Friday Pathfinders of the year! Like we do every year, we are joining forces with the younger group BBQ and water-fight fun (see above for details). Make sure you bring any water pistols or water throwing devices that you own in order to put up a good fight and show the younger generation how it is done. 

Sunday Pathfinders & CYFA 
In the spirit of unity and all that, CYFA and Sunday Pathfinders are also joining up this week for our final sessions before the summer. We will be praying for each other, thinking a bit about envy and giving out some awards for the year. 



Soul Survivor Fund Raising 
Well done to everyone who took part in fundraising over last weekend. From what I have heard everyone did a brilliant job and has managed to raise a good amount towards their the costs of their tickets. 
Some of our crew at the end of a long day of carnival! They looked a lot sweatier in real life.

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
