St. Leonard's Youth Work Update

Coming up next week...  I hope everyone has had a great half term. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, so I won't mention that by Monday it will all be over :(. But I will tell you that we have got some exciting things coming up this week...  Cell Groups  Cell groups are all back next week, so make sure your evenings are free!  Year 7-11 Cell Groups will be starting a course of 'Youth Alpha' tackling the tiny little topic of the meaning of life. Year 12-13 Cell Groups will be looking at Denominations in the church and thinking about how that could possibly happen in a church that is suppose to be 'united'.  Reminder: Year 10 Cell will be meeting on Wednesday this week at 8.15pm - 9.30pm. Friday Pathfinders (younger) Tonight (27th October) there isn't any Younger Pathfinders because it is still half term! Coming up next week...  We have made it! Tomorrow is officially half-term! Well done everyone.  We've still got some things happening though, so it's worth reading this blog... just in case.  Cell Groups  Well done to everyone who took part in our Cell Celebration on Sunday. It was a brilliant service and everyone did really well. The sad new is that because of half term, there won't be any cell next week. You'll just have to wait until the week after for you cell group fix!  Friday Pathfinders (younger) Tonight (20th October) its Cafe Night. Mo and Dave will be there with their international Cafe and Olly will challenge anyone who feels brave enough to face him at Teken Tag.  Next week (27th October) its half term :), so there won't be any Pathfinders :(. Coming up next week...  You may have to excuse a few (more) typos and spelling mistakes than normal. Hope, may have decided that 4.30am was wake up time and is now chattering merrily away next to me. This is our last proper week before half term, but its a goodie. We've got cell celebration, cell leaders training, and a winter BBQ. To find out more have a little read below...  Cell Groups  THIS SUNDAY (15th OCTOBER) 6pm is our Cell Celebration! If you have never been to a cell celebration before, now is your chance. Ask anyone who has been if you want to know more about what they are like. You'll be glad you did.  If you are in a cell, please can you make sure you are there for 5.30pm to set everything up.  Next week (after the cell celebration) there won't be any cell groups meeting, because our lovely leaders will be attending a training session. We've got Soul Survivor consent forms and 4 of our crew are getting confirmed and that's just on top of all the usual excitement. All last week cell groups have been busily preparing all their different contributions to it. Next week we will be putting the finishing touches on the what we planned last week.
