Coming up next week... 

We are already coming into week 2 of our 5 week term. Time is moving faster that Usain Bolt on a suped-up travelator.  Here is what is coming up next week...

Cell Groups 
After having cell groups on a week we don't normally have them, we are now not having cell group next week (a week when we would normally have them). This isn't just to be confusing. Next Monday is a Bank Holiday Monday, so we are taking the opportunity to have some cell leaders training next week and as a reward to cell leaders for being trained, we are giving them a well earned week off. 

 Last week there were a good number of human pyramids made in cell groups, with varying degrees of success... 


Thank you to all the parents who came along to yesterday's cell parents meeting and gave excellent feedback. If you weren't able to come along but would like to know what we discussed, get in touch and I will send you the minutes. 

Friday Pathfinders (younger)
This week (28th April) is a leaders planning meeting, so there won't be any Pathfinders tonight :(. The good news is that we should have some hip hop and happening plans ready for your Pathfinding pleasure by 8.30pm tonight! 

Next week (5th May) is still to be confirmed (oooooh mysterious!!) but we will let you know as soon as we have planned it! It will also be Cameron's birthday, so if he is joining us, make sure you are nice to him... 




Friday Pathfinders (older)
No older Pathfinders tonight (28th April) but we will be back next week (5th May) to plan out what we are going to do for the next term. 

It will also be Cameron's birthday (if he is joining us) so make sure you are extra mean to him... 

 (we might also do some Cameron based party games, just like we did for Peter, who knows)
Sunday Pathfinders
We've had a bit of a leaders shortage this week, so, unfortunately, there won't be any Sunday Pathfinders on the 30th April. You will have some great options this Sunday though... 
1) you can either stay in the service and listen to the amazing junior youth band lead worship 
or 

2) you can come along to St. Peter's and St. Paul's in Church Hanborough to watch Charlotte Tyler from year 8 cell get confirmed (get in touch if you want more details about that). 


CYFA 
No CYFA this week because it is a 5th Sunday of the month, and having CYFA on the 5th Sunday of the month would be utter madness. Who would even think of such a thing?

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. Coming up this week...  This is the first blog of 2017! Just before the first proper week of our youth work in 2017. Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas!  Cell Groups  Cell  groups start back next Monday (9th Jan) with most cells having a social, but cell groups in year 12+ looking at 'spiritual disciplines'. Thank you to everyone who helped out with setting up (and washing up!!) for the cell  social  and to everyone came along.
