Coming up this week... 

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good week... this is the last proper blog of the year (there will be another next week, but it will mostly be pictures of the cell social). Here is what is coming up in the next week...

Cell Groups 
Next week there are no cell groups :(. But that is because we are having our joint Christmas Social!! Its an evening full of dressing up in fancy clothes, eating pizza and and playing games. What's not to love?! (unless you don't like fun, in which case you will hate it) 

 If you haven't handed in you need to as soon as you can. If we don't know you are coming, you will be allowed in, but you won't be allowed any of the delicious, delicious Domino's. 
If you haven't had an invite, print this picture off and give it to me with a £5er


Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Today (9th) is the last Pathfinders before Christmas, so make sure you are wearing a Christmas jumper and come ready to play some Christmas classic games and eat your weight in mince pies. 


Last week we watched this cracking film. Sorry it was so cold though. The heating is fixed now though so it should be nice and toastie this week
Friday Pathfinders (older)
Today (9th) is the last Pathfinders before Christmas, so we are going to watch a Christmas movie, relax, eat some mince pies and unwind with a relaxing game of killer frisbee. 





Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is on this week (11th) but its the last one . We will be going through and sharing what we have liked/learned about this term, playing games and then praying for each other. 

CYFA 
There is no CYFA this Sunday (11th) but next week (18th) we will be having a social. 


YOUTH. WEEKEND. AWAY.
The forms for the weekend away should have been given out at cell groups and Pathfinders last week. If you still haven't had a letter you can download them from here

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
