Not much time for this bit this week as I'm late for a meeting... just read the stuff below! 

Cell Groups
This week at cell, we are finishing planning our parts for the cell celebration (see more below) 

Year 7 - Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30pm are planning the game
Year 8 - Monday 7:30 - 8:45pm are planning 2 prayer stations 
Year 9 - Monday 7:00 - 8:15pm are planning 1 prayer station
Year 10 - Thursday 7:30 - 9:00pm are planning 1 prayer station
Year 11 - Monday 5:30 - 6:45pm are planning music and the layout of the church
Year 12 - Friday 5:00 - 6:15pm are planning refreshments and welcome 
Year 13+ - Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00pm are planning the talk


Cell Celebration! 
The cell celebration is this Sunday (20th October) at 6pm - 8pm. Unless your cell leaders have told you otherwise, please can all cell members arrive at 5.30pm at the latest.

 The theme is The Bible (so nice and broad, easy). If you have never been before, a cell celebration is an informal church service that is run by members of the cell groups, but that is open to everyone. 


Younger Pathfinders
This week (18th October) is School night. It will be just like school, only with more running around, throwing things and making Dobbo look silly. 




Next week (26th October), we are having a joint cafe night with the Older Pathfinders 6.30-8pm in the Church Hall, there will be games, board games food and lots of other things that come you would expect from a brilliant evening. 

We have introduced a payment scheme for Friday Pathfinders for this coming term, I have sent everybody who was involved in our Youthwork last year an email detailing what this will consist of, if you haven't received this email please let me know and I can send this to you!

Older Pathfinders
This week (18th October) at Older Friday Pathfinders, animal night. No description necessary here I think but rest assured there will be no geography round...

CYFA 
CYFA is back this Sunday (20th October), looking at how to listen to God! 

Consent forms
It is important for everybody who is attending our Youthwork to have a completed consent form each year. If you are under 18, a parent needs to complete the consent form. Please use this Link

Please note that we need these consent forms every year, so even if you filled one out last year, we still need another one).

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since. Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course.
