Coming up next week... 
I know its a bit early to be starting to think of Christmas but its a bit chilly in the youth work office now and that has set my mind on a festive course! Make sure you don't miss out on your chance to book tickets for our Cell Group Christmas social (more info below). 
Cell Groups 

Year 7-11 Cell Groups will be following on from last week with their 4th video in the Youth Alpha series. 

Year 12-13 Cell Groups will be doing a session on Confidence and Comparison, sightly less controversial than some of our more recent sessions, but hopefully still interesting!  



Reminder: Year 10 Cell will be meeting on Thursday next week at 7.15pm - 8.30pm.

Friday Pathfinders (younger)
Tonight (17th November) we are having a Board/Computer games night. Come along if you fancy a bit of retro gaming fun. We also have a super special guest joining us...






Next week (24th November) you better be feeling kind! We are going to be taking part in something called Guerrilla kindness (basically, you try to do something nice without getting caught! 
Friday Pathfinders (older)
Tonight (17th Nov) its CLASSIC GAMES! And we will also be joined by not 1 but 2  Classic Special Guests...



Next week (17th November) is Quiz Night (so there you go, advanced warning to brush up on all that general knowledge! 

Sunday Pathfinders
Sunday Pathfinders is back this week (in our new location of the Middleton's house). It's being led by Jennifer and Simon and has the mysterious title of 'The Sword of The LORD!" 

CYFA 
CYFA is on this week. It's being led by Nick and Claire and will be looking at, "Christian distinctives" or to give it a less fancy title "what is actually different about Christians?".  
Cell Christmas Social!
Its that time of year when as members cell groups (plus special guests and cell group alumni) we get together in the church, togged to the nines in our finest togs, eat a load of Domino's, play some great games and see out the year! All that for only £6.50 a ticket (what bargain!).

Coming up next week...  After a bit of a false start last week with the bank holiday, we are now back with a bang. There is a fair amount happening in the next few days, but mostly notice that even though there is a bank holiday... that isn't stopping us this time!!!  Cell Groups Our cell celebration is coming up on the 19th of May, so most (but not all!!)  cells will be preparing for that. 2nd - 9th June

Coming up next week...  You might notice something different about the blog this week, it may be less funny but there will be fewer spelling and grammatical errors as it has been written by somebody who knows how to write. That's right people........Dobbo has arrived! (Don't all cheer at once) Cell Groups  Cell groups are returning this week after a refreshing half term. Years 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 13 will be doing a session on drugs and alcohol. Year 12 will be doing a brief recap on their alcohol session and then focussing on drugs.   Friday Pathfinders (younger) This week (2nd June) there is no pathfinders due to half term. BOOOOOOOOOO! Next week (9th June) it is obstacle course night. Be prepared to jump, spin and run round our unique obstacle course. And we are back!!!!

Wow, what a summer! Soul Survivor was, as it always is, amazing this year. If you were at St. Leonard's on the 7th September you will have heard all about it, but for those of you who weren't: We took 30 young people and 4 leaders with us this year and were joined by a group from Leicester. So all told we had group of 45. Which looked pretty good when we were all in fancy dress. But more than that, it was amazing to see how much God moved people along in their faith, simply because they set aside some time to focus on Him. What was also amazing was that a pretty incredible new brother of mine gave his life to God that week; it is has been brilliant to see what God has been doing in him since.
